What just happened?What i have done?How i survived reading this?The most important question is why i haven't read this book before? I am speechless and my mouth is still open after i finished this book!
| 27/04/2015 I discover the author recently and i must say this wont be the last book i will read from her. I really liked this one. I enjoy the tone of the author writing and from my side there was never a dull either a boring moment. I loved as well the small town romance style the book had too. I liked Luke and Harper. I really did enjoy their journey and how the ended up together. Luke was the male character i can exactly write paragraphs and paragraphs about him how i loved hating him and all because seriously he really really was a pain in the ass and totally jackass and yes in the end he did took him kinda a little bit more to realize his feelings towards Harper but in the end does we all take a little bit of time to admit the truth for our feelings making mistakes in progress too? Cant wait to read more from the author |
Volume 3 the final book of the series and I like it equally like the rest two volumes even for different reasons.
| If you haven't read the first book step back and go read it right now Consider how the first book finished i was expecting a more than a simple bomb from our story and i was correct... It was entirely a long Long sweaty,steamy firework between Andrew and Aubrey. After Andrew really realized who Aubrey was i was so expecting a massive explode to come from him and i was right... One minute it was him torture her about pretty much everything you can imagine and the next minute you see both to have an awesome worked out in the office,in the bathroom literally everywhere I think i might have a Bipolar behaviour as well consider those two and specially Andrew i just love to hate him in most chapters and maybe pretty much in every page ... Almost but close. We learn more from Aubrey background and how much in a horrible family environment she grew up with two parents who never really cared about her needs and her wishes and it was more about their own benefits and all. We actually learn more about Andrew past at the same time. But doesn't make him a better lovable person or someone we can all forgive for his words and actions not at all. As i said earlier his relationship was one long firework. The problem is no mater how much awesome the sex scenes was between them it was coming to an end. Not because they didn't had feelings for each other. Not at all on the contrary it was they both had obviously but they let they personal issues and stubborns to let them apart. Don't get me wrong I absolutely adore those two but it is one of the times that both sides are responsible for different reasons. Andrew was cold and hot. His tragic past for once but mostly his man whore idiotic horrible behaviour and attitude towards Aubrey. He wanted and then he didn't. He wanted and then he changed his mind, He wanted in the end but with his own terms and needs. Aubrey in the other side was a woman in love with him. She sure was and she actually let her own self to believe that Andrew would sort of see how much she was in love and then he will change. That's a typical female behaviour from real life as well. Looking forward for the next and final book! |
This is the second time i re read again the series and its one of those times that a book is super awesome as the first time!
One dinner. One night. No repeats
Andrew aka Thoreau is a man whore who you love to hate literally. He has a profile at an online dating site he date woman have sex and that's pretty much what he is doing for so long. But Andrew has an online relationship with a woman named ''Alyssa'' . For the last six months they tend to keep talking about everything from lawyer stuff to their daily life and o fcource sex,sex and more sex.Andrew and Aubrey were just two awesome funny characters. he really had both secret and lies and i was really surprised how much the relationship develop between them even that Andrew was keep insisting meeting her and Aubrey was keep refusing him. I loved Andrew because he come across more as a comical alpha male and Aubrey was not annoying at all,in fact she more more ''down to earth'' person and i really liked that as well.
The book ends with a cliffhanger and its obviously its the moment the meet..
You know the feeling i suppose. When you start to read the new book from an author you recently discover and really fancy reading it,and you promise your self its going to be one more chapter and one more chapter after finally hours you end up finishing the entire book. This is exactly what happens to me with Wild Aces. I devour it in almost one night when i was keep saying i will only read few chapters before i end up to bed..
Few months ago i finished Hate F*@k: The Complete Story and i was surprised to see there was a second book of the series I was so excited that i totally forgot that i actually pre order not until the book delivered at my amazon kindle! I literally finished it in one day (should i say in one night)
There are few spoilers bare in mind
we knew Alison and Scott already from the previous book. They have a sort of thing going on between them. Scott is bodyguard of Alison and i really pity n a good way this guy. How long and how he was able to resist her I was just speechless. Alison is in her 20s and guess what a virgin Scott is around 35. I don't really mind their age gasp because age is just a number in most cases
So the first part is a sort of a cat and a mouse game between them. I am glad it it didn't last for so long because i really wanted to see those two together. Scott was all over the place for her and Alison was all over for him as well at the same time. And the had a lot of sex pretty much a lot of sex. Some sex were provoking i guess for some but they were sure very explicit awesome and you will have those omg moments plenty of time.
It was pretty clear that somewhere in the moment both of them will fall in love. And this is the only part that Alison irritated me in some sort of way. Yeah they have agree from the first that this would be a booty call (mostly from Alison part) but she fall in love for real with Scott and she keep using excuses why they cant be together. There was a jealousy scene when Alison met Scott ex wife and she went furious and accuse him for keeping secrets from her and not open up and all. When at the same time she was keeping pretty much everything for her she demanded Scott to be open all all over about him and his past and to totally get hurt in the end since after all he was a booty call for her...
This was a interesting story over all and very fun. we get to experience all the ups and downs in the relationship from the lust,the sex and the love in the end. I really like that the author used again both POV because we really see whats going on in all sorts of situations and feelings from both sides at the same time.
I am looking forward for the rest characters,there seems to be more coming up!
Blindsight was recommended to me according to previous books i have read already and I thought to check it out. I literally read it in one sit in couple of hours during evening and night.
It was an interesting reading for sure with a lot of crime suspense,intrigue and of course lots of sex. The suspense behind who was who and what will happened next was way too much for my taste. I almost went back and re read several parts in some cases,i felt i was missing something.
The sex scenes between our couple was... Literally mind blowing!Maybe i have a long time to read such a raw and almost carnal but very authentic sex but steamy scenes but it was too good to be true... .
But the plot was really good to catch my interest in the end and i really wanted to found out how the conclusion would be in the end. The ending left me with even more new questions. .
If you discover the series late like me and you are hooked like me this is a nice book to get a a little bit of sneak of the new characters that they are coming into life with their new books but also to see how oldies one does and all. I still have a sweet spot for Dimitri ;)
| Another top notch awesome book in the series! I really like this one as well,don't let the 3 stars fool you it was really great even it was not my all time favourite,Dimitri has still my heart owned! The romance between Yuri and Lena was so cute.They sure had chemistry each other that it become more than that near the end. The action was good.It seemed that every female heroine has probleatic family background but doesn't mean it is the same in every book.This time Lena's cousin caused si many troubles I was amazed how Yuri and Lena found a proper solution. One of the things I like in the series is the returning back of all the couples from the previous book and how they and the new incoming characters are interacting and involving with each story book. Extra There is someone coming back from the past someone that it has to do with all out guys horrible past.I can't wait to read more about that in the next books |
I had no idea about the series i discover the via Amazon few days ago and glad i did.
Erin is heling out her sister who is a drug user and apparently someone who causes many troubles as well. When she gone missing Erin turn on to the only person she doesn't really wanted Ivan Markovic who his connection with the underground society of Houston might helped her.
I like it,in fact i enjoy this alot. There was past paced and full of action in just 100 pages. The chemistry between Erin and Ivan was good the Russian ex mob turned to be a fighter and a hot one as well!
My only concern was it was too short and i wanted to get to know more about the couple. Looking forward to continue the series and get to know for the rest of the characters we were introduced here
Another super hot reading from Lucia Jordan only this time the story had more than just a couple having steamy sex, not that i mind of course ! Jace steals cars for a living and she had promised her self this would be the last one she takes. Not until a phone call change everything with an offer she can resist. Max catch Jace to steal his car and he offer her a choice. Call the police or she will pay for her stealing by working for him. The attraction between those two were amazing. There was a lot of background story how each other past were connected and i was a joy to see how it was solved in the end
After i finished the story i came up with the conclusion that the story with the name it self it doesnt not really fit (in my opinion).
Its the second series i read from the author and I was not dissapointed. Gina moved to her brother house after he discover that her boyfriend had lied and cheated (again) when she meet the good and sexy neighbor Landon. I really enjoyed how the story between those two was and the entire fantasy having a sexy neighbor (dont we all have this fantasy anyway?)
The story was easy to follow, the sex and the The intimate scenes were very steamy. The only reason i am adding a 3 sta review was because as it happens with all books from the same author i wanted to big longer. Also there was alot going on with Gina's brother which we left with no answers as to why before he got a happy ending obviously. And also another major thing : when Gina confront Landon about his secrets i was dissapointed to see how the conflict was resolved in the end. There was potential in my eyes for even more between those two!
But overall it was so fun and enjoyable :)
This is the first book i read for 2016 and i have to say that my reading year started very well.. In fact very awesome!
For 100 pages it was a fun,sweet and soo sexy reading!Jennifer and Thomas met for the first time on an airplane,their chemistry started to build and they had a great hot night together in the end. What they seemed they thought was for only one night proved them wrong. I really really like those two. The chemisty they had was obvious too much to ignored,the sex scenes was so good,Thomas kinky side was a little bit too much provoking for my taste but so good to read and overall i really enjoy the characters and how the story ended
